When is a bedwetting alarm needed?

Bedwetting is still a taboo amongst young children and especially teenagers. Teenagers will go to great lengths to hide it from their school friends and this can affect the ways in which they interact, by avoiding sleepovers as an example. Teenagers often feel embarrassed and ashamed, and it is almost always not their fault. It is always advisable to rule out any physical conditions by first visiting the doctor. However, in many cases it is usually as a consequence of a build up anxiety, anger or fear that a child may be harbouring.

Hypnotherapy has proved successful with children and teenagers that wet the bed, and I can provide very useful metophors that can assist children in exercising control. I also provide tailor made recordings for those children that might feel too embarrassed to come into the practice.
